Dave joined Prospect Press as Assistant Editor in 2022. His journey in publishing began with his high school arts and literary magazine, the Amaranth. His adventures continued in New York working in literary scouting, editing filmmaking textbooks, and volunteering at an experimental poetry press. He’s happy to have found a home in Prospect Press where he can share his approach to editing that puts authors first, and develops great teaching tools for learners.

Dave graduated from Ithaca College in 2009 with a BA in English and writing. He is an avid hiker, a half-marathon runner, film enthusiast, trivia champion, and a collector of vinyl records (now over 400 and counting). He also enjoys vegetarian cooking  and restoring wood furniture. He lives in Burlington with his partner, Colleen, and their longhair dachshund, Horatio.
